We are not medical practitioners or alternative healers, however we have a wonderful range of herbal plants that can and are used for medicinal purposes. To ensure that our products are of the highest quality we maintain and use organic processes wherever possible. We hope that the use of our plants will help you on your journey to better health and wellness.
Medicinal herb products may include foliage, flowers, seeds, fruit and/or roots, in fresh condition or in some kind of extracted form. Over 20,000 different plant species are used for medicinal purposes but perhaps 100 medicinal herbs comprise most of the industry.
Throughout history there has been an intimate relationship between people and plants, and botany and medicine have been inseparable. The herbalists, shamans and healers in any civilization inherited their knowledge of plants from their grandmothers and great-grandmothers before them. One could say that they were the earliest professionals in history and there is no doubt they exerted a strong influence over the village folk.
